July 2008 - Carrier launch "The Igloo" Portable Air Conditioning Unit.

The unique design and soft lines are a result of market research with the end-user and collaboration with leading designer Giuliano Galeazzi.

The new Igloo operates on R410A non-ozone depleting refrigerant and has the benefit of 3 functions; dehumidifer, air conditioner and fan.

Additional features include:

• Sleep function - the lights are dimmed, fresh air is supplied at a soft whisper: ideal conditions for relaxed and silent sleep.
• Active carbon filter to eliminate unpleasant odours.
